3/13/2016

"There is a time for everything,    and a season for every activity under the heavens:" Ecclesiastes 3

It has been a whirlwind start to 2016. In January my mother, Olga passed at the age of 97years 7 months. She had an amazing life. We miss her daily but rejoice in her new life in the "land of the living". In February Lois had a hip replacement and I began a four week treatment for a recurrent mantle cell lymphoma. In March I managed to have a couple episodes of hypotension which landed me in the hospital for 24 hours. After consulting the cardiologist at Mayo I will be hospitalized for several days next week to change meds that appear to be the culprit. Still all is well in the Ostrem household.

We have been watching a lot of hockey that our grand kids are involved in at Robbinsdale and Maple Grove. What fun we have had watching them progress. Yesterday it was 68 degrees outside and we were in the arena enjoying wearing heavy coats, hats and gloves. Go figure?

Blessings come daily our way in so many ways in this season of our lives. How could we be so fortunate to have this precious time with our loved ones. Thanks be to God in Christ Jesus!

Looking forward to summer!!!!
