November 14th, 2010 Home again...

The first day back home from a week of surgery and recovery. A morning of waking, walking, coffee, peanut butter toast and Robert H. Schuller's Hour of Power. Not our average Sunday morning but we are grateful to be in our home and "bed".

Lois is resting "napping" on our couch. We have been showered with love by friends and family the past week. The snow was a nice touch God!

The week will be filled with rest and recovery. Healing of the anterior and posterior incisions will be slow but already improving. We covet your prayers and give thanks for all offered in this new journey toward healing for Lois.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.

It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.
